Developed
by GSERA in April 2004, the Get DigITal project offers a wide
range of digital media workshops to anyone aged between 16 and
24 and living in the Gorbals area.
Our workshops are completely free and include:
- Website Design
- Computer Games Design
- Video Production
- Music Production
- Animation
If you are interested in a career in IT, then
our workshops are an excellent place to learn some of the skills
required to gain employment in this industry.
As
well as digital media training, our Careers Advisor is always
on hand to provide help and support to those looking for employment
or wanting to go to college or university. We can help with
careers advice, creating CV’s and completing job and college
applications.
Our workshops take place in the Learning Base
at the Adelphi Centre every Tuesday and Thursday evening from
5.00pm to 8.00pm.
We also run a Job Club every Thursday from
1.00pm to 5.00pm in the Learning Base.
