Disability
The
Adapt Trust
The Trust aims to improve access for everyone to arts and heritage venues
in the UK.
Abbey Charitable Trust
Grants of up to £20,000 (more typically £4,000) are available to charities
(particularly smaller and/or local charities) that support disadvantaged people,
for example through advice about managing the challenges that arise from disability.
The Trust has a particular interest in Glasgow. Apply at any time.
Barclays
Camelot Foundation
Young disabled people aged between 11 and 25 are a priority for the Foundation.
A full list of priorities and deadlines will be posted on the website at the
end of March 2006.
Charities Aid Foundation
The Foundation wants to support UK-based charitable
organisations with annual incomes of up to £3m to maximise the effective use
of their resources. Applications from minority ethnic-led organisations, disability-led
groups and geographical areas with less support from funders / networks are
encouraged and supported.
Comic Relief
Comic Relief will fund projects benefiting people with
disabilities under the following programmes - young people experiencing problems
with alcohol, mental health or prostitution, older people, refugees and asylum
seekers, mental health, domestic violence and disadvantaged communities.
The Henry Smith Charity
The Charity will consider funding projects that are specifically aimed at
the rehabilitation and training of the disabled and projects that provide
holidays or outings for children with a disability, aged 13 or under.
Lloyds
TSB Foundation for Scotland
The Foundation aims to support charities throughout
Scotland which help people, especially those who are disadvantaged or disabled,
to play a fuller role in their community.
Rank Foundation
Tesco Charity Trust
Offers one-off grants of between £1,500 and £5,000 to local organisations
in areas where Tesco has stores. Children and adults with disabilities are
a particular priority for the Trust. Apply in writing by 30 June each year.
