available to charities (particularly smaller and/or local charities) that
support disadvantaged people, for example through education and training that
will make a lasting contribution to local communities. The Trust has a particular

theme are libraries / museums / archives and special educational needs / learning
difficulties. The average grant is between £10,000 and £50,000.
Futurebuilders Scotland Learning Fund
Grants of up to £2,000 per learner are available to
help social economy organisations pay for relevant and recognised learning
opportunities that will help them to deliver more or better services and generate

The Foundation aims to support charities throughout
Scotland which help people, especially those who are disadvantaged or disabled,
to play a fuller role in their community.
The MacRobert Trust
Grants are only given to charities, with a preference
for those in Scotland. Youth is one of the current major categories supported.

Project Scotland
Provides financial support to enable full-time volunteers
aged between 16 and 25 to spend at least 30 hours a week volunteering. Placements

The Foundation invests widely in youth programmes
throughout the UK.
The Robertson Trust
Supports a wide range of charitable objects for work
which benefits Scotland, including projects for young people with special
needs, youth training and general youth work.
