Cancer care research projects that tackle anxiety, depression and other symptoms related to the condition are the focus of this new £1m fund.

The Foyle Foundation
The Foundation’s main priority under its Health theme is to make an active contribution to improved health care, including some research projects. Smaller health charities (including those for rare or distressing conditions) are favoured. The average grant is between £10,000 and £50,000.

Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland
The Foundation aims to support charities throughout Scotland which help people especially those who are disadvantaged or disabled, to play a fuller role in their community.

The MacRobert Trust
Grants are only given to charities, with a preference for those in Scotland. Youth is one of the current major categories supported.
