Earth
Action Earth provides grants of up to £50 to assist
groups in carrying out environmental projects. Projects must take place before
30 June 2006.
Alcohol
and Education Research Council
Small grants of up to £5,000 for innovative projects
that increase the capacity of individuals and organisations to deal with alcohol
issues and to develop the evidence base relating to alcohol issues. No deadlines.
Awards
for All (Scotland)
National Lottery grants of between £500 and £5,000
for projects that help people to take part in arts, sport, heritage, social,
environmental, health-related, educational and other community activities.
No deadlines.
Allen Lane Foundation
Grants of between £500 and £10,000 are now available
to groups in Scotland to test and develop ideas that could eventually become
fully-fledged projects. Apply at any time.
Big Lottery Fund – Investing in Ideas
Local charities with annual incomes under £100,000
are eligible to apply for small grants for work which makes a lasting difference
to people’s lives, reduces isolation, stigma and discrimination and encourages
or enables unpopular groups to share in the life of the whole community.
Comic Relief
Small grants of up to £5,000 under the following programmes
– Disadvantaged Communities, Older People and Mental Health. No deadlines.
Groundswell
Grants of up to £500 to projects run by homeless and
ex-homeless people and those that actively involve homeless people in decision-making.
Lloyds
TSB Foundation for Scotland
Supports recognised charities in Scotland, including
smaller awards for organisational reviews, capacity building and capital /
revenue costs.
Nationwide
Foundation
Charities with annual incomes under £250,000 can apply
for one-off grants of £1,500 under the theme of domestic violence. No deadlines.
Scottish Community Foundation
Small grants of up to £1,000 for a wide range of Scottish
groups and organisations. No deadlines.
Seeing
Is Believing Fund
Grants of between £100 and £5,000 to community and
voluntary groups within disadvantaged areas in Scotland so that they can visit
and learn from successful regeneration projects or access other learning opportunities.
